We're looking for a Senior Android Native Developer to join our team and take ownership of Android projects from concept to launch. You’ll be working closely with product and design teams to build high-quality mobile experiences. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Android development and has successfully built and launched at least one app from scratch.
✍️ Key responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and/or Java.
Lead the development of new features and improvements in existing apps.
Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
Maintain code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
✅ Key skills:
5+ years of professional Android development experience.
Proven experience building and launching Android applications from scratch.
Strong proficiency in Kotlin
Deep understanding of Android SDK, architecture components, and best practices.
Experience with modern Android development tools (Jetpack, MVVM/MVI, Room, Retrofit, etc.).
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows.
Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and mobile design principles.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
🔝 Bonus skills:
Experience with Jetpack Compose.
Familiarity with Firebase, GraphQL, or mobile analytics tools.
Published apps on Google Play Store with a portfolio or links.
